Shri Ramachandran Kadannappalli

Shri Ramachandran Kadannappalli was born on July 1, 1944, in Thottada, Kannur district, Kerala, India. He is the son of P. V. Krishnan Gurukkal and Mrs T. K. Parvathi Amma. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.

Personal Life

Kadannappalli is an active advocate for Gandhian thought. He is fluent in Malayalam, Hindi, and English. Spouse  Saraswathi T.M and  son, Mithun P.V.
He has visited Russia, Gulf countries, and other places. He enjoys playing volleyball, listening to music, reading, writing, and contributing to literary publications.

Political Career

Kadannappalli has had a long and distinguished political career. He was elected to the Kerala Legislative Assembly from the Irikkoor constituency in 1980, the Edakkad constituency in 2006, and the Kannur constituency in 2016. He has served as the President of the Indian National Congress (Socialist) (INC(S)) state committee since 1990.
